Nice try, but didn't do anything for me.
Felt bit dark and depressing (until the discolights gave me an epileptic attack) rather than motivational and inspiring. No hype, no emotion no nothing.

Thank you for the input. I feel as if it wasn't depressing. But of course, that thought process is rather biased. And there wasn't any 'disco lights'. Just cutting of film. But I do understand how it may be too much.

I wanna see the pain, the agony, the torn muscles, the balls to the wall, the blood, the girls, the money, the bling-bling

1) as if this cunt doesnt snooze his alarm atleast once
2) doesnt lock his door? Just walks the fuk out to his car
3) the flickering lights almost gave me epilepsy at one point. Its a cool effect but i think you overdid it
4) it was a rather uninspiring workout. What is 'heavy' is relative to the person, but this dude wasnt breaking a sweat. Nor was he grinding out any reps, or hitting a 'max'. This nigga saying average stops here but he is the definition of average. Hes not big, hes not strong, hes not ripped, and hes not even trying in the gym footage
5) is this guy a HnF'er? He seems to be living the hnf lifestyle. Wake up by himself, no family no friends no gf, goes to workout no friends, not even other gym goers, foreveralone life. Should of had a short montage of him posting on the misc or photoshopping some pics of his pics or something

I actually couldn't agree with these points more. Ladsy is onto something.

And that epileptic shock at the end. RIP users at home dying to this vid.

average joe doing average stuff with light weight

to recap and elaborate ...

The black and white was a bit of a downer.

Try dynamic camera angles like mentioned before. Movement while focusing away from it, etc.

Intensity, show the grit

I don't think categorizing it as an 'epileptic shock' would be accurate. And I have mentioned that if I had to do it over again, I would approach that effect with more care. Because as it is, it is too harsh. Black and white perhaps missed with you -- and some of the other viewers -- but it was intended to bring a more dramatic feel to it. I'm curious to what you would define as "dynamic camera angles." There were shot's that did just that, a zoom in while simultaneously focusing in on the subject. If you could perhaps elaborate on that with examples or clearer explanations that would be welcomed.

Perhaps I could have portrayed more grit and tenacity though. I do understand that point very well and will do better with that on these types of videos in the future.

One gripe I would say is to say that the subject is in fact average, or does average weight training. Strength is relative to the person. And to throw a blanket sweep out there and say that what he was doing in the video is average...is very inaccurate.

when you take into consideration the fact that a LOT of people who exercise don't do it for superficial reasons, a fact you might have forgotten judging by your post, then anybody who exercises is above average.

Judging by your post (along with all your other trash posts) you probably look like shit and use that excuse for why you go to the gym and have nothing to show for it

damn. why the rage? i look great after 7 years of exercise/boxing and you cannot insult me. work on being less miserable.

anyways, a great example of this post is a lady i know who turned 91 in May, she does 100 pushups and situps every day, and every single day on my way to work i see her out for a morning walk. she's definitely above average and i don't think she's trying to impress anyone
