is it true this is genetic and skips a generation?

cause my grandfather had a full-ass head of hair at 75 and we both have the same hairline. straight across the forehead.

It's lottery. Quick Google search turned up this article (granted, it's from USA Today, so take it with a grain of salt):

i heard there's two age ranges. if you're gonna go bald / large bald spots, it's gonna be in your low 20s. then in your 40s you'll start getting a receding hairline / thinning. i'm 27 and got all my hair, so i'm probably safe for a while.

My hair is a little thinner than when I was in my 20's and 30's, but I've still got a good head of hair on my noggin.

If I start going legit bald, though, I'ma just shave it all. I don't wanna be that old cat with the hipster ponytail. =p

I think a bandana and eye patch will look good on you bro :)

"Not entirely true. While the primary baldness gene is on the X chromosome, which men get only from their mothers, other factors are also in play. The hereditary factor is slightly more dominant on the woman's side, but research suggests that men who have a bald father are more likely to develop male pattern baldness than those who don't."

...i'll take it!
