chiro is psuedoscience and why would antiinflammatories make your pinched nerve not hurt? you need to treat it with physical therapy or surgery.

I have rheumatoid arthritis.
Before you read further, if you want a truly "anti-inflammatory" diet, you need to ditch animal proteins.
My wife is a doctor at Mayo Clinic and recommended I go on Dr. Mcdougall's program (it's free - 100% free) He has been an internal medicine doctor for 40 years.
https://www.drmcdougall.com/misc/2014nl/may/tencases.htm

At the bottom there is an 'elimination diet'
Essentially, you eat steamed brown rice/sweet potatoes/aspargus for ten days. Only using Table Salt. At the end of ten days, your intestines should be clear of toxins as well as your bloodstream and you should feel better. A full list of foods you can eat are at the bottom of the newletter...

If inflammation is the cause for this pinched nerve, this WILL help - dramatically.

The least you can do is try it for ten days. If it doesn't help, then you know it is not due to inflammation around the nerve.

If it does work, then you can look at the rest of his diet. (all free, like I said).
Basically, I'm a vegan who doesn't eat oils or wheat. 'starchavore'.
I'm not skin and bones either^

You can also check out this video series by Dr. Campbell (the china study) - the world's largest blood-test study of disease. Which essentially showed that the poor counties in China that only ate rice had ZERO diseases and the rich counties (which ate meat) had a many diseases.

There is also a movie called forks over knives you can watch, but it is $14.

though you are mostly correct, this subforum usually either turns a blind eye toward, or gets badly triggered when the fact that animal products are mostly all bad is brought up.

i say mostly correct because The China Study is a pretty groundbreaking study and your synopsis does it no justice :P

Yes. Someone just said in another thread "we have another wretch"
Not sure why so many people hate.

My rheumatologist wanted me on methotrexate.
My mayo clinic doctor wife told me to look at china study
I stumbled upon mcdougall
And here i am a year later running marathons and wearing flip flops...
My pain is literally gone...

So yea - not sure why people hate on me just telling my story

 really? i'm not even a vegan, never have been. just not one to turn a blind eye toward hard facts.

good for you, really, to have the intelligence to do the research and help yourself. rheumatoid arthritis sounds awful, my gf's mother has it, she eats like shit and takes medication and is always in a lot of pain. it's a bummer.

in everybody's defense, it's really hard to question a lifestyle that you're born into, and one that you've been indoctrinated into. however a quote comes to mind, this probably isn't verbatim but: "for one to be free of ignorance, one must question all they think they know, no matter how impressionably it was learned" - you either get it or you don't.

cheers
