No. It's often prescribed to take those "supplements" as you get older to keep your testosterone levels at a decent rate.

Obviously it's pro bodybuilding so there's going to be abuse but who gives a shit? He's one of the oldschoolers and most of us were too young to appreciate him in his prime. Now we get to see him on stage.

yes taking them for extended periods of time even with breaks inbetween at his age cant be good. i would assume his body would not show as many adverse reactions if he were 1) younger and 2) not taken them for so long, since a younger age

u think that just because these supplements are taken at smaller doeses to keep within normal physiological ranges, then that means they are fine to take as a pro bodybuilder. even thought u are well aware they abuse them? besides the drugs being used, having his body in that state, carrying extra weight, once again, at that age and for such a long time, just cant be healthy at all. of course being younger still not healthy, but its such a huge risk at his age. many bodybuilders have died around that age, if not younger.

No, I'm saying everyone and their mother who has no idea how steroids work immediately say it's bad for you and it irritates me every time.

Steroids are absolutely amazing for a buttload of things. Abuse of ANYTHING is bad. I'm just pointing out the difference between proper use and abuse.

I couldn't care less if bodybuilders abuse roids and die by the age of 65(which doesnt even fucking happen in the first place anyway). I just don't like this clear case of global ignorance about steroids in general. It's literally a massive chain of "I heard this from someone who heard it from someone who heard it from someone, ad infinitum". Media sensationalism, lack of interest from individuals to do their own god damn research and the fact that steroids being looked at as something bad plays right into the mindset of the jealous person who knows he can't make it anywhere. It's easier to give excuses than to admit other people are better at stuff. Steroids are the perfect fucking stand-in for an excuse.

People need to stop pretending like steroids are the devil's semen.

I think it's starting to change a lil bit from the just "oh steroids are bad but we don't know why" from everyone. That was mainly caused by the media crucifying anybody caught on them. They've found out what miraculous things TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) can do in middle age athletes making them feel like they're 25 again and making old men feel half their age. You're even starting to see commercials for TRT and shit like it on tv nowadays which is typically the same concept just administered by a doctor. Seems like it's pretty easy to get prescribed to test these days anyways.

u make no sense. ur saying that ur upset people dont know how they work and u think they are great for u.... then once again... u said how abuse of anything is bad.

pro bodybuilders ABUSE THEM....

u just answered it. thats all i am saying is that its bad for pro bodybuilders.... especially when they are older and doing it over such a long time. i repeat myself again.

i do agree that they can be used properly and be healthy, within normal ranges that the body produces sure. but pro bodybuilders dont stay within that range often. and thats all i was saying. i am referring to pro bodybuilders. i even clarified this before
