Chukka boots are technically combat boots, they were used in WW1 or 2 in the desert campaign. But probably not what you're talking about? You mean the 8inch boots nowadays? Those are fucking awful if you want to look proper/going in for an interview/proper job.

What are you wearing with them? chukkas can be dressed up to go with a casual suit, or dressed down with Chinos/maybe even jeans and a button down.

Noooo I think the chukkas are dressy enough. I usually just wear nice jeans with a polo or plaid shirt but I'd like to look a bit nicer than wearing tennis shoes like some of the guys around here. I've worn out the dress shoes that I have over the 1 1/2 years that I've been working here.
