You're into fitness and keeping healthy.

This guy just wants to gain some weight. Do you think he's going to stick with it if he's now eating twice as much everyday of boring food? Fuck no. If he starts off with some moderated junk food, and sees some progress then he'll be more keen to continue, he will have time for a cut when it comes he can start eating healthy. It's actually hard when u first start trying to eat more.

Alls he's saying is if you're bulking to eat everything in sight. But he's small and skinny, prolly with a crazy metabolism. Some people prefer to eat clean, others prefer to eat shit and drink poison likengiufykr

Same, another option is bulking on healthy food and adding bulk powders, you can get load of calories out of them and beginners tend to believe it's some kind of magic. Also adding fats and peanut butter is a decent idea.

1.5 protein/lb
.5 fat/lb
3 carb/lb

readjust grams every 10 lbs.

ensure he is consuming ~ 60 g fast carbs immediately pwo

Why do you guys insist on making everything so fucking complicated for beginners. Start him out easy with good form, progressive overload, and a caloric surplus.

Then once he's got the hang of that you can teach him macros, tempo lifting (1/2/0), and TUT etc

Then you can teach him about micros, and super sets and all that other stupid useless shit.

Make it simple as fuck so he sees gains and isn't a HUGE shock to him. If you think somebody is going to COMPLETELY overhaul their life and continue with it you're insanely wrong. Very few people will do that. Once he sees consistent gains he'll love it. When he starts to plateau explain to him why, and give him a bit more knowledge.
