if you don't like lyrics try fusion jazz (genre) or chillstep (also a genre)
personally I listen to a mix of Cali reggae, old school rap, ska (genre) sort of punk-rock-ish, and slipknot-esque metal... no screamo bullshit. Cali reggae is my favorite , such as slightly stoopid, 311, because it reminds me about the fatty I'm about to smoke when I finish my sets

Not a smoker personally. but will check some of the stuff out.
