That's awesome, Aube! I think I'm at 169 lbs right now and probably 13%? Just top abs showing but I really want to finally lose the lower ab/back fat this time but I'd like to hit 10% before I slowly bulk up and ideally do what you did.

At some point you realize cutting is useless unless you do a show. Just slowly bulk until you are heavy but still with abs. I gained about 20 lbs my first year and after that it was slow...about 30 lbs in 4 years.

I did much better this go around .. Gained about 17-20 lbs in 7 months, and started my cut in mid feb and I'm down to 169 and I've maintained all the strength so far.

I agree , cutting is a waste. i was doing fantastic and still had abs at the start of december.. exams and the holidays fucked me up and I gained like 7 lbs in that month, otherwise I think i'd still be bulking up because I was on like a .5-1lb gain a month up until that point.


I'll never do a show as I'm an athlete , anaerobic sports mostly but I'm going to start pro wrestling training next summer so I need to start putting mass on so I look more credible.

shit ive been bulking for 2 years now.. went from 135 to 210. my bf is probably like 18-20% so ima cut back to like 195.. i dont need to be shredded but i dont want a gut either. i just dont really know what to do with my diet..

I'm in the same boat. I'll eat clean for one meal and feel like I've accomplished something, then smash a whole tub of Ben and Jerry's later.

I always told myself I'd get my diet in check before adding another.. thing lol

It only happens to me when I dont have structure. i.e. during exams and the holidays because I'll be at home a bunch, bored , not doing much with lots of food around so ill be like fuck it and eat whatever is available. THe more I have work/school the better my diet is.

maybe as a beginner it is possible... I gain a lot of fat each bulk to build little muscle

Cant get bigger while maintaining my weight

Same here. When I was working as a sales rep for Boar's Head I had Sunday and Monday's off, which was perfect for my schedule. I could prep meals on Sunday, go see my doctor on Monday during the day when they weren't packed (TRT) and carry on as usual.

Sadly lost that job because of a serious, and I neve use this word seriously only joking around online, but forreal legit BETA ass bitch. Story for another time.
