Your body chooses what it uses first, if you try doing just sit ups or curls your going to just end up making your muscles bigger under the layer of fat your trying to lose in most cases. Combine weights and diet with cardio for aesthetics, just cardio and diet for weight loss. Work out your intake and go from there! Would recommend My fitness pal.
