I had a look at some stuff and the general rule of thumb is to try put on some weight/muscle and then try to cut weight down? I really just want to maybe put on a couple of kilos in solid muscle so is it possible to do both or will it take forever?
Also since ive never lifted a weight before or done any kind of strength training will that be a disadvantage and take me longer to notice any difference or because i havent it will come more noticeable?
Buy some dumbells and a bench, then workout at home?
To answer your question, you'll actually see differences quicker as a beginner generally speaking. Unless your diet is absolute crap of course.
