But the 'bigger' you are as a bodybuilder the more likely you will be doing hypertrophy sets, in 8 reps and above.

do legs 2 to 3x a week you wont get nearly as sore once you get used to it.

Hit muscle groups every 3-4 days any sooner and your tissue is not repaired. So 2x a week would be optimal.
