genetics has a lot to do with this, obvs.

you doing standing calf raises and seated calf raises? you didn't specify and they target different muscles

Genetics change the insertion/shape but you can still increase the mass in your calves just like any other muscles. If you want to remain aesthetic your calves should be close to your arms size.

havent lifted in years, my calves are bigger than my arms.
