Ask them how much longer they'll be, and come back accordingly. If they make some sort of statement saying to fuck off, be polite and say you've been using these racks for 3 hours. Your time management skills are quite poor so maybe you should be working on that instead of your body image.

im pretty sure it shouldn't take an hour to do 6 sets,

Welcome to powerlifting. Where you do 1 set of 1-2-3 and then wait 3-5 mins or more til your next set. 1/2 my gym is powerlifters. Just work in with them, or ask them to work in with their friends.

I've told people they couldnt work in a bunch of times.

I have rest periods I like to respect and I don't want no rando ass dude who lifts sissy weights and has completely random recovery times to work in with me. + they typically end up giving me some sort of small talk or asking me tips and that sucks.

I'm just really fucking strict on recovery times. That shit ain't arbritrary when I'm doing anything other than strength training. A bunch of people at the gym have asked me why I go so fast (as if I was going fast -.-)

When you rest at least 3 minutes between sets and warm up properly, it can def take 1 hour to finish squatting ...
