its common to irritate the sternocostal joints through impact of the bar and sternum. does it feel sore to press on your chest?

If it's your first time in a while it's probably due to that.

I just squatted/legs again for the first time in a while and I need a cane.

I have this when I lift after a break or so.

When you inhale it hurts more?

It's a very tight muscle across your chest, nothing you can do about it.

If you want to, stretch very carefully by extracting shoulder blades or focus on filling your longues with air.

Stay away from chest exercises for 4 days and you're good to go.

It lasted 2-3 days with me. Thought it was something in my heart as well.

lol yea its all good think it was dom soreness like orakopo said

lasted like 6 hours or so i feel fine now :)

try foam rolling or rolling a tennis ball/golf ball, lacrosse ball
or sauna and cold shower combined
hot tubs
proper warmups, post workout stretching
yoga, breathing exercises
