Which part of the neck do you need to stretch?

i would say the back. i am missing my c1-vertebrate (guess i was born without it) and my head just is pushed forward and so my neck is not straight enough. i know that when I straighten it out the muscles along the sides of my neck seem more straight and strong and my atoms-apple is also more prominent ( may even strengthen my voice too ).

Then it's not the back of the neck you need to stretch but the front while extending your thoracic spine. Reinforcing your upper back muscles will help correct the posture overtime.

Chris duffin's warmups before big skwaaats and deadlifts (it's a youtube video) seriously greatest stretches ever, and only take 5 mins

sometimes if during my warmup I feel I'm leaning too far forward I'll do some ankle mobility so my knees can travel further forward, fixes it every time.

I don't really warmup for bench, and sometimes if my back is feeling off I'll do cat camels, tspine rotations all that stuff

Over stretching may be counterproductive if you main current goal isn't to be flexible ou reach a the flexibility required for your lift.

Ex:
1. You are few weeks out of a powerlifting meet and stretching like a mofo...not good.

2. Off-season training with less focus on strength and more on overall fitness...good.

Orakpoo and Deathbj has some great tips on how to stretch your neck out.
Some deep thrusts every now and then is apparently the way to go.
