Weight loss can be pretty much broken down 3 ways:
- water
- fat
- muscle
When you first start dieting, any rapid weight loss is usually water weight, especially if you cut out carbs and sodium
After water weight, the faster you lose weight, the more likely you are to burn muscle which will yield an ugly skinny fat physique long term.
