numbers are important for tracking your progression

your post is unimportant and not even what I was referring to for numbers. I never said don't track. I said limiting yourself to numbers.

if you cant lift decent weight, all them reps aint gonna do shit. you gotta get strong before you can efficiently move heavy weight for the purpose of hypertrophy. get strong. 1,3,5 rep sets and maybe an 8-20 rep set at the end just for a pump. Same for all of your compounds. (I see no reason to ever do more than 8 reps on a deadlift, and i rarely do 8 rep sets for them anyway rofl)

Heavy is relative to a muscle. A person that can bench 275x8 is going to have nearly the same hypertrophy as someone that benches 115x8. Are they going to be the same size? No. Are they going to induce nearly the same amounts of hypertrophy if they're both training at the same intensity and volume? Yes.

OP - Listen to Shane, volume is what you need. Whether you want to do 30 sets of 3 with short rests or 5 sets of 15... you just need to keep the rest times shortish and keep the TUT high.

Balla* op doesn't know names

Despite his picture saying Shane lol

8-15 reps <90 seconds rest IMO. Volume doesn't necessarily have to be high at first but you will need to progressively raise it.

Massive pumps are good and soreness is also good.
