eww ouch, I've had collapsed lungs before, the pain is compareable. This isn't too bad, if it's feeling better by friday I might just do my lifts beltless.

yeah if you feel better, go without belt and use light weight for higher reps so less chance of snapping shit up

Good news, turns out nothing wrong with the rib, nor a collapsed lung.

Does anyone know what the pain is from then? There's no visible bruising, but it hurts even when I breathe.

I guess nothing wrong with a bit of pain, keep lifting, maybe just wear the belt a little looser?

I'm 22, I just don't wanna have to start at like ~80% of the weight I was using, and then train hard for like 2-3 months just so the progression catches up to where I previously was.

weight is just a number brah. as long as you train heavy (for you, not someone else), it doesn't matter. oh yea sure, you can brag about how much you lift to others but that doesn't matter to me much.

i don't know man, that's just me. and i'm pretty much a loner when it comes to working out, i don't like having a workout partner :|
