Carbohydrates = 4 calories per gram.
Protein = 4 calories per gram.
Fat = 9 calories per gram.
Eating a 100 calorie surplus of fat vs. protein/carbs isn't going to change the fat gain. You will, however, eat 100 calories worth of fat easier than you would carbs/protein.
so if it says a food is 1000 calories, and has 12g of fat, does that mean its 1000 calories + (9 calories per gram * 12 grams)? or Of that 100 calories, 9 grams of it is fat?

yeah for weight gain/loss
your health is going to be absolute shit though, theres like 3g of sodium in a mcdonalds meal, tons of saturated fats and preservatives
so this just means it's lacking in vitamins right? and has too much sodium which is bad for your heart/blood and stuff?
do high fat foods stop you from building muscle? for example, if i eat 2000 calories of mcdonalds and work out, will i build the same amount of muscle as someone who eats 2000 calories of chicken salad and works out?
