That said, I find I have better grip with the barbell in low bar position with a tank/the bar touching my bare skin in parts, irrespective of the sweat, in comparison to a tee
how are the knurlings of the barbells at your gym? at the other gym i go to, the knurling is rough AF cut up my shins and sometimes my back when squatting/pulling and i don't even need chalk for squats with those bars
