That's on the low side. You should definitely try to reduce your sodium intake if you regularly take in that much.
And the leading cause of death in the US is heart disease.
just looked up recommended potassium intake and google says 4700?! i had no idea, i'm not even close to this. Adding potassium would probably be far easier than cutting sodium for me.

lets not get out of control here lol.
the quality of the foods you say youre eating are probably a bigger problem than your sodium intake.. clean that diet up B!
While i could definitely 'clean up' a ton overall nothing really feels like it holds me back unless i get into candy/(hfcs) or alcohol. And my %s seem to be usually 45% carb 35% fat 20% protein on a ballpark average.
I have a feeling i'm way low on potassium now

have you seen the new lit coming out questioning the salt recommendations? theyre talking about making 4-6k the new recommendation for most people. it seems you can somewhat arbitrarily categorize people as salt sensitive or insensitive because some people see a slight increase in bp from sodium intake and some dont, and there may be detrimental consequences in terms of circulation to too little salt intake as well
Interesting, i've probably been in the 4-6k range if i had to guess for the past 10 years and the few times i've had my blood pressure checked its on the low side but nothing 'unhealthy'.
