Building muscle just comes down to consistency with exercise and nutrition. That said supplementing protein with whey is good since it makes it easier to ensure your protein intake is high enough. You want to hit around 1 g per lb in protein when trying to build muscle. Besides protein, it's a good idea to take a multi for general health purposes. Other supplements aren't really necessary for working out unless you want pre-workout stimulants. Creatine is good since it gives your body more short-burst energy.
Keep up the good work and stay motivated!
Now, is that applied when trying to lose weight too?
Like I plan on being less than my current weight, should i just do 270 this week, and say if I lose 5 lbs by next week, go down to 265 g?
In terms of protein if their is a nutrishop where u live, I used to work their and one of the best protein style for its size and money is Hydro-pro. Great Isolated whey, only need one scoops and contains the best beta alanine ive tried in a long time.No store in my driving distance, though I can order it. worth the order?
