ahhh icic, i was asking if it would be beneficial for overall strength to train with conventional even though it's a lot weaker.

e/ compared to pulling sumo every time

probably, assuming its weaker because the involved muscles work differently

sometimes its just a matter of motor adaptation and it'll increase crazy fast because the muscle strength is already there

if youre also doing sumo squats, you could try switching it up by pulling conventional if you want

Imo sumo and conventional are completely different lifts and by switching it up you become less efficient at the movement

So yes, it may be better for overall strength to switch it up, but it's not always the strongest person who can deadlift more, but the person who is good at deadlifts that lifts more. There's a difference

I squat low bar wide stance just below depth for heavy sets then I do narrow high bar atg for hypertrophy
