u don't have to keep ur carbs at a very low lvl. this is the most common mistake and the protein u eat will be burned off as energy. 2500 calories of carbs without any protein or fat at all will save more muscle than a 0 carb diet with plenty of protein and fat. u will lose weight quickly, trust me, and u will not have to restrict for so long. the low carb diet is notorious for wasting muscle initially.
