I think it's rather that the majority of earth's population doesn't care to be swole and jacked, thus their target market is that of scrawny individuals. There is also a certain look perpetuated by male models right now but the average unfit individual also thinks those scrawntrons are jacked or ripped because they can see faint little abdominal muscles
