Seriously please leave this subforum... The two posts of yours I have read have been extremely terrible.

Sorry

You must be Mr. KnowItAll

why not try to help him out with some ideas?

There are multiple ways to cut down. Depends on your lifsetyle. I'm young, I go to the gym once or twice a day. LA fitness grind, lift in the morning, play ball at night.

Have carbs early in the morning, cut all carbs towards the evening as a progression

The only times you actually utilize carbs is when you do strenous activities. All unused Carbs are stored as fat.

You will notice your crave for sugary foods will decrease as you continue to cut down on carbs.

What I eat consistently on a daily basis

Meal #1
I have a bowl of cereal ( Nature's Path Pumpkin Flax Granola ) with a scoop of Muscle Milk Vanilla Whey protein + Fat Free Milk + a whole shit load of frozen blue berries

Gym

Snack
Quick Protein Shake right after the gym

Meal #2
A sandwhich stacked with Boar's Head Cajun Turkey, slice of American Cheese

Meal #3
4-5 Eggs (2 whole eggs , 2-3 egg whites), cajun turkey cut up, mix it in there and a slice of cheese

Meal #4
Can of Tuna, frozen organic veggies from Costco & Srichacha

Snacks you can have
Chobani Greek Yogurts with a scoop of Muscle Milk Vanilla Whey Protein and blueberries <--- Shit is dope as fuck
I keep Organic Frozen Blueberries in the freezer

** Buy Muscle Milk Whey Protein from Costco. It's like a 6lbs bag for $40 **

It's not that I'm trying to be a dick, but it's people like you that make me want to give up on the world. Where did you learn all of this great information about nutrition and the human body?

why would you recommend deli meats

chicken / beef / fish + veggies is always good.

i enjoy lots of cottage cheese + banana or granola.. get like pro/cho/fat 65/25/10.. and its pretty filling.

if you actually read the nutrition label on Boars Head Deli Meats, I'm talking about lean meats.

It's a good source of protein without any major downside besides a bit of sodium depending on which deli meat you decide on.

depending on how active your lifestlye is, a bit of sodium has little to no affect towards your life and not everyone has the time to cook up their own steaks or grilled chicken. Most people dont prep their food. There are those that do, but fuck I aint about that.

maybe inform me on something, i may be wrong

If OP wanted to hear the generic answer, the answer is

Grilled Chicken, Vegetables, Broccoli...*wasnt expecting fish from you, most people dislike fish*, canned tuna, fruits early in the day or afternoon ; cut down towards evening, brown rice

Complex carbs, lean source of protein, small meals

Nutrition and human body?

This is what I do, and I'd consider myself in decent shape.

Having played d3 college football, I know a bit about myself.

When I was in school, I'd have 6 am lifts.

After lifts, we'd go straight to the dining room. I'd eat 5 boiled eggs (whites only) with hot sauce and a bowl of cereal.

Just because I may seem like a ** random ** to you, doesnt mean i dont know much about what I'm doing

Did I say something that was incorrect? if I did, why dont you share your perspective so I have a better understanding of where youre coming from

Alright then, just going to jump right into it. Macros are macros. Carbs are carbs. Same with fats and proteins. Just because it comes from a chicken or vegetable doesn't make it a super protein/carb/fat.

And I eat poptarts right before I fall asleep. Why am I not swelling up like a balloon from all these carbs being stored as fat?

Chug a glass of water after you eat your poptart before you fall asleep and i will guarentee you will swell up like a balloon.

and the reason why people swell up is due to your body retaining too much water. A lot of sodium + a lot of water = swell

** edit **

not to mention, everyone's metabolism is different.

A person with a very fast metabolism wont swell up as much or at all in comparison to an overly obese person.

Again, if i'm wrong. I'm all ears. I didnt study this, i didnt google this just now. It's what I know from my past experience in dealing with this.

Not saying I know it all. I just find it humorous OP wanted advice on how to change his diet to help him lose weight, all I hear are flames from people that dont know anyone that they havent met.

Here's what i do. working for me at least:

buy raw chicken breast boneless and skinless.

place on cooking sheet with cooking spray bake in oven 375 degree 35 min or google it or experiment. just make sure when u cut open fattest piece, it's not pink.

seasonings i do:
pepper
salt
garlic salt
onion salt
oregano
paprika to season

wait til cool

cut them the long way and put all in a container and you can put it in the regular fridge (no need freeze).

put a piece (or two) in a tupperware with spring mix and olive oil basalmic/apple cider vinegar (google the macros for oz and buy a scale if your counting macros and use scissors to cut up the right amount) for chicken salad

i also have precooked brown rice when im bulking and use just add the chicken to that with some raw broccoli

2. sauteed ground beef 90/10 or leaner with a 1lb bag of frozen veggies if im too lazy to cut fresh ones. season with a few tbsp of soy sauce if u don't care about sodium. put whole thing in container and refrigerate. take out 6oz and put in tupperware as needed.

3. S&W low sodium black beans in a can. (only ingredients are black bean, water, salt) with the chickens mentioned above + veggies

yes a carb is a carb but....
fruits have vitamins and minerals that are great for your health
poptarts don't offer any health benefits

thats what I define as healthy eating, not talking just about fat loss...
healthy eating
