the best way to trick your body is eat the exact same thing 30 days a month. then one day a month, cut your calories a little bit and sneak in a small snack like a reese's or something. your body will think you're eating the same thing and completely ignore the snack. this is the principle that "cheat meals" use.
not only is that just not true but it's also probably more counter-productive because if you could do that for 30 days straight, you've already created a habit for yourself and should just stick with it imo
