What magical bro science book did you read that from/

he's a newbie looking for some simple advice and that's what i'm giving him. if you disagree make a cognitive retort or get your useless, toxic shit outta here.

@ your edit, soreness after 24hrs means the muscle still hasn't fully healed yet btw.

Hey dude, smash that chest with some 10 pound flys and push ups.

Better wait 72 hours before you do your next pushup though.

Solid advice.

definitely seems silly to people who have been lifting, but some of us come from a place of narrow-minded judgement and others do not.

again, if the muscle is still sore, it has not fully healed yet.

At first u will need 3 days or so to fully recover. But once ur adapted to consistent lifting u will never get nearly as sore as u did when u began. When that time comes with a routine like urs u can do it every other day

Thank you for the positive insight on this..those who gave it. Yes I'm a novice and don't have much weights but it's more then what I do normally. I'm not fat or Anything just want to build a bit of muscle while toning.
I'm 205 lbs @6 feet tall so I'm a bit over what I should be buthe I'm fine sitting at 200 with a bit more muscle

I'll see how my arms feel tonight if I can do exercise again. Arms are fully extended but still a bit sore might give it another day and just run and sit up and push ups tonight

I'd suggest power walking (speed walking will tone ur legs) n just curl and shoulder press your dumbells while walking

You're only sore because your muscles arnt used to it obviously.
Once you go more often it won't be as bad

I was once the same

I've started doing some workout excersise with dumbells 10lb/20lb So I can start building muscle ..well more then I have in my upper body.

I did my first workout yesterday doing various bicep curls and tricep exercise and woke up yesterday and couldn't extend my arms fully, to sore. Now this morning they r still kind of sore but I can extend them fully with a little bit of pain.

When should I start working out again. In the days between I've been doing jogging outside and crunches and lunges. . When can I workout my biceps again

to start i would say workout 4 days a week, alternating muscles each day, u could do 4 straight days on and 3 days off, avoid getting swasty on the weekend-it kills gains
