perfectly parallel might not be necessary but definitely not at the angles that greg squats at. 5 to 10 degrees outside of parallel is ok, just the wider your toes are the more you need to be cognizant of your knee position.

The only place where kids behind a computer are taken more seriously than someone who has held numerous world records in powerlifting and works among probably the best coaching team and organization in the strength community in North America.

Clearly if his ankle alignment was an issue he would've run in to that somewhere along the way to his world records.

Lifting isn't a one size fits all activity. Find what works and differentiate between you and other people. Keep your knees tracking over the middle of your foot.
