Youl probably find it hard to squat too, especially if ur in a cast and can't even balance your hand on a barbell
When I broke my first I learnt to do cross arm front squats, works great

ask a guy to spot you on the bad hand while u bench press with the other, might take a while to synchronize the lift but u will get there

Dumb Bell press with your good arm.
Your other side will catch up fast once it heals. I took physical therapy in college and it has something to do with your brain and confusion.
