Yeah, you can only consume ~500 calories a day or some ridiculously small number. Depending on your weight, you lose 5-10lbs a week. It's something a lot of yuppy older people do who've never been able to lose weight. It's also used for people who run a cycle as it levels out the test hormones in the body. The neat thing about HCG, though, is that while on it, you can NOT work out or do strenuous activity since you're caloric intake is so small, however you only lose fat and not muscle.
thats not what it does in AAS cycles actually, it's used mainly to prevent testicular atrophy and cessation of endogenous test production by mimicking LH in the testes . I had never heard of it being used outside of AAS use though.
edit: did some googling and I see what youre talking about as far as using it without AAS
