There are ways to make sleeping on your stomach better though, like placing a pillow underneath your lower abdomen to help keep the lumbar section of your spine neutral.


I can't fall asleep on my back/side =(

when I had my lung surgery I had tubes poking out of me and I had to sleep lying on my back, it would take me forever to fall asleep, and then like 1-2 hours later I'd wake up in a ton of pain cuz I'd rolled onto my side, and almost my stomach in my sleep.

Never knew you could switch, I thought everybody just slept differently and every way was fine...
