I've gone from preparing my entire weeks meals on a Sunday, to preparing a few days ahead on Subday/Wednesdays, to the point where I try to prepare everything the night before.
The quality is far superior; can't even begin to tell you how bland a chicken breast that's been cooked and refrigerated for 5 days tastes..
And I also find myself more enthused about the next days meal, rather than knowing I've got the same shit for the next 2-5 days.
