Board-bench will help with that point.

Also 20lbs in 2 months is great.

Thanks. ;)

So you are benching heavy 3x a week, and i am guessing vormav's routine involves decent volume?

Try benching twice a week, work with %'s of your 1rm instead of going for a new 1rm each workout, and throw in some extra work with like 85% of your 1rm for doubles.

no, all around the 10 rep range, no heavy days.

Lol, you have been working out well over a year, the fuck.

significantly strengthening my triceps increased my bench about 15%.

work heavy (sometimes decline) skull crushers, behind the head dumbbell raises, and rope pull downs.

arms are a weakpoint for me =S

So why are you maxing out if it's not part of the routine?

Your lifts aren't going to fly up on a hypertrophy routine. Just stick to the routine and make the size gains if that's what you want. Strength should follow.

lifts in 10 rep range
focused on strength..

it can be done man, but if you just want to hit 225, change your rep range up for a couple weeks and you'll get it easy

I've been benching 3x a week on Vormav's routine, I was at 180lbs for my 1rm about 2 months ago

just continue with this? I wanted to know if there were any weaknesses associated with not being able to lockout

rest for 5 days without touching chest, then go for 205 1 rep.

don't be afraid to fail
