It does make sense, but research has shown that unless you are doing fasted training, you are not near depleted of protein, and consuming extra after the work-out will, like i said, have a negligible effect.

Don't worry about that. Your body has protein available from what you ate throughout the day or yesterday if it's morning. It doesn't need specific protein right after a workout.
