Do it all in 1 session, Terry Fox did, but then he died.

Terry fox ran a marathon every single day until he was forced to stop from his cancer returning. According to Wiki he ran 3339 miles total in 143 days. On one leg. I dare anyone on this planet to do better.

I live literally 15 miles from where he stopped running.

So I decided this year to set myself a challenge of running 1000 miles across the year.

I am not a big runner at present, but am hoping to average out a 2.75 mile run every single day through the year. Of course some will be more and some days I'll do none.

Unfortunately I play football already on Mondays and Sundays and this mileage will not be added in, which makes it a take more of a challenge.

All mileage will be tracked on an app so there will be no cheating.

Has anyone ever done anything similar or even fancy joining me in setting a goal and tracking it vs progress?

i haven't went for specifically 1000 miles, but i went for 4 miles a day, every other day, for 5 weeks

had the best cardio in my life
that was after i quit cigarettes

hoping to achieve that again

Yes I'm on a similar a similar health kick. I smoked casually and have cut that out but hoping to improve cardio overall as a result

Are you doing something similar at present then?

I would aim for more than 1000/365 miles per day sin chances are you'll have to mis a few days.
