There's things you can do to supplement whatever tools you have in your fight toolbox, but the best teacher is experience.

Supplementary work could involve circuit training, and/or plyometric/explosive exercises.

lol srs. stop trolling yo. it takes talent to stop takedowns and to take other people down. not to mention fighting is a talent in and of itself. you can't just step in a ring as a tall person and win...
