Canditos is not optimal for bench, he has altered it but not in his official release

Can't find the link but he changed his program for Nick white or whatever

Also, canditos bench went up by 5 lbs in 12 months while doing his program

He changed his benching a lot since then

Awesome progress! My deadlift is at 405 as well. I'm really excited to see gains! Goal is to get 460 deadlift within the year at 181lbs.

Yea I read a lot of reviews and people said there bench didn't really improve on the program. Candito also has one of the worst benches at the 181 weight class (8/10 people beat him on bench at his last meet).

He suggests that working you're triceps is overkill and you should only do bench for your triceps, I found that really odd. Also dips aren't mentioned at all in his program.

Why is this Program bad for benching? Too much volume? Not enough reps in strength ranges?

Direct tricep work not really needed for raw benching

Geared lifting requires srs tricep str.

Why his bench wasn't going up? He's got a video on his channel about it and he explains what he will do to improve it. He has also made g00d gains since then

Yea I watched it, all the issues he addressed were personal; rotator cuff injury, not mentally focused on bench days, grip width and diet.

If you look at the reviews for Candito's strength program literally everyone says their bench did not improve much, if at all.
