Yes, have clean water here in Australia, also you'd be an idiot to NOT drink tap water yet use it to shower/bath in and clean your clothes and dishes with no issue.

Tap water tastes bad in a lot of places hence needing a filter for drinking water. So no you wouldn't be an idiot to avoid tap water/filter it.

No, just drinking water. There's no need to filter shower water since I don't drink that water. Water used during cooking tastes fine since it gets boiled.

Live in Montreal. Tap water quality here is as good as it gets.
