a lot of people who are really into fitness are very unhealthy, you can have a 6 pack/ ripped body eating like garbage..and looking like garbage. How you look is only one part of your overall health.

hahahahaahaha we had an argument about eating shit and still looking good where you vehemently denied its plausibility. if i wasnt 70% id buy the search to post it

I lift for health, in the sense of, "don't wanna be a hugely overweight fat bastard working a desk job."

As an additional benefit, it's helped in one of my newer (new-ish?... comparatively) hobbies, BJJ.

that's pretty much what I just said..lol

you can eat like shit and look good in the sense that you can have a 6 pack, and be in shape..but at the same time look like shit In terms of actually being healthy. The face tells you a lot about how healthy a person Is.

Go to any gym, and you'll see guys in great shape..but you can tell they eat like crap, this is just from being In nutrition as long as I have though..It's easy to pick up on those signs.

Anyway's the point Is, and I think everyone should take heed..being physically fit and legitimately healthy are two different things. Of course, they are connected as well..Then again, my vision is being truly healthy Is different than the typical fitness minded person. There are levels

Nah even the people that eat like garbage are more likely to have better biochemical profiles than those who eat moderately bad and don't exercise.

I started going back to the gym for 2 reasons.

1) training for the probationary firefighting testing next year and
2) health.
