i do high rep deads sometimes; i like them (10-15 reps).  and i know george leeoman is a fan of high rep for strength training, so may be something there

I know he incorporates high reps a lot as well, granted I'm not injecting my ass so recovery is a lot harder I do take a deload week every month

you guys say rip spine but promote doing a 1RM.

I find that funny. you can go to failure with lighter weight with less chance of injury (simple fact the weight is lighter) than trying to put up a 1RM.

truth be told, knowing your 1RM is about the most useless thing to know. It's nothing more than another form of dick measurement/bragging rights for a lot of people. Impressive at times, but pretty useless for the real world.

I'm not saying don't do a 1RM but if we wanna split hairs here

Also, 275 for 26 reps is awesome. My grip would totally fail way before ever getting even close to that. My weak point was always grip. Damn tiny hands...

Lmao 1 rep max useless in the real world?

Brb picking up a heavy log to save someone is useless

Brb picking up a medium sized log then putting it back down onto someone 8 times is a lit more useful in the real world right

Yeah. Absolutely nothing more than an ego-stroking bragging right.

knowing it or not knowing it doesnt affect your actual 1RM, he says testing for it can be dangerous if done improperly
