I have never casually read a book in my life. As a child I was constantly forced to read for school. This caused it to be ingrained in my brain that reading is boring and is a chore. Even now as an adult if I force myself to sit down and read my mind wanders and comprehension is nonexistent.

On the other hand I love movies and video games. Getting sucked into the story of a good RPG is one of my favorite things.

I started listening to audio books 1 year ago because I know there are some excellent books out there that I am missing out on. I was also curios to listen to a book that was later made into a movie that I was fond of. At my job about 50% of the time I am doing tasks that allow me to listen to an audio book while comprehending what I am hearing.

Some books that I have enjoyed so far:
1984 (George Orwell)
No Easy Day
The Count of Monte Cristo (50 hours long)
Maze Runner (I haven't seen the movie yet. I wasn't fond of the sequel books)
