if you're in the 1000lb club on the big three, what should you be snatching/ clean & jerking ?

Never done power cleans, snatches or clean & jerks but I'd figure I'd start.

Need to build dat der male cheerleading strength/explosiveness

I asked a P.T. at our gym if he could show me the movements: "Nah brah only if you pay by the hour ($120) you can buy a package of 10 hours for just $1100 if $120/hr is too expensive for you"

So fuck that, youtube videos it is then

I had a 1150 total and I started snatching / CnJ with only the bar for couple weeks.

Found 2 good Weightlifting coaches that are following me right now and I managed to get to a 255 Snatch and a 305 CnJ in 5 months.

if you are actually concerned with olympic lifts, you should learn the technique and be proficient before even giving weight a second a thought

This of course

No real correlation, you need to have mobility aswell.
Go to your local Athletic Club and you will get free or extremely cheap help from competetive lifters.

E: How much do you fucking OHP since you DB press more than the girls weight?

On the last bit: it was a slight exaggeration, but I can do up to 8 reps of 42kg dumbbells. the lightest flyers on our team are probably 40kg at most, I assume since the "bigger" (still small and fit but everything's relative, eh) feel a lot heavier and a probably in the 50-55kg range.

OHP: I've done 85 kg with BB. 1RM

Above 1000 is very vague

How is it that vague? Should give you a general idea of strength level without being too specific, but detailed info:

190kg deadlift + 170kg squat + 130kg benchpress = 490kg = nearly 1100 lbs

Lol that pt charges $120/hour? Pathetic

My pt at my university charges $30/hour and he IS a power lifter ... Squat and deadlift are both 500+

Even by our country's standard its pathetic. PT's in this country make about $30-40 per hour so the remaining $80-90 goes towards the gym. You can find gyms that'll give you PT lessons for about ~ $70-80 total but the one I go to is expensive / luxurious as fuck so they love ripping us off ($100/month fee) but its so good I don't want to join any other gym even though there are gyms that cost like $30/month here.

Quality > budget imo

Not exactly high school status no... I finished high school with the third highest (out of 1000 students) in the big 3 and I was at roughly 900-950ish

I finished high school just two years ago and I had a 1 year break from training and dietting (got fat and lazy, hence no pictures from october 2012 - january 2014 to be found of me... my darkest era)

but right now there's some pretty sick high school students at the school I went to, I've seen these guys deadlift 220-230kg range and they're ~ 18 years old... they look like shit though and are competiting in PL contests so those guys are probably rocking 1200-1300 totals @ high school level
