i think so too. i dont think its a major case though. just going to work on it a bit and work on accessory exercises for a while and bw squats till i can hammer them down fine. i dont think its a good idea to go heavy if my form isnt 100%

Because it's easy to have great form when the weight you are lifting is easy. You want to simulate when you have to actually fight a bit for no form breakdown.

your knees are coming out past your toes too far. With legit heavy weight you will feel the strain in your knee, or outright hurt yourself. If you do that at that weight it will only accentuate the motion even further with heavier weight.

Also, nothing wrong with the butt wink. It happens to a lot of people who get good and deep but don't have quite enough hip flexibility.

For what you're trying to do though, don't go quite so deep until your hips loosen up. or work on flexibility to alleviate it.

Like mentioned, it is quite prominent though

found this on youtube. It's a quick but decent little vid to watch. Looks like you're doing a low bar squat and that's what he's doing too.

Hard to tell but looks like your outside of ur rear foot comes up when you squat . My buddy does this and then his knees cave in. Really tight ankles/ groin/ hips ? I'd get rid of them shoes and get some flat soled . U do look a bit bouncy. Take a vid with 225. The but wink don't look bad at all.

i will take one. i dont get it though. few people say i have it, some say i dont or its nothing to worry about because its so slight...i just wanna do the exercise right...thats all lol. i dont like doing things the wrong way

edit: my feet are slightly elevated on that silver bar thing (i dont have oly shoes so i use that). i wonder if the shoe could be contributing to anything. i may go check if sports authority or dicks or something has olympic shoes i can try on to see how i like the heel

If you cant squat properly by now,the problem is in your head, its certainly not your shoes... No hate
