But of course you can get big/strong without ever doing them


Doing a pure hyp routine is a pretty good reason to not include deadlifts....squats on the other hand...

what exactly do deads provide other than spinal erector and hams which on the right plan do get plently of work already?

first off nothing is a must.
for bb'ing, squats are still king but rack pulls are just better than deadlifts and don't take that much out of you.

My core is 2x what it used to be since starting deads and squats over a year ago

In other news, maxed on flat bench yesterday at 245, got it up like butter. Tried 250 but couldnt get it after 2 attempts. Going to max on deads today :D

and i weigh 179lbs. Get@me

I'd change gym if Ii could, but it is the university gym that is 5 mins away and I already paid £190 non refundable. Think I'm going to try squats at the very least
