Could be a couple things bro... Pre workouts work by increasing adrenaline mainly, but if you are not getting enough sleep, taking too much caffeine, or really unhealthy - you wont get anything out of it.
Plus, C4 as a whole isn't really a high stim pre workout... cite - [URL]http://www.muscleandsport.com/top-10-pre-workout-supplements/[/URL]

So basically, it could be a lot of different things, or all of them together. When you eating bro? Your food could be diluting it as well....

My usual preworkout was just a coffee
I thought i'd try C4 extreme (pink lemonade)
It gave me a good mental focus and energy
Nothing that i couldn't control or hadn't had before, but strong enough to really enjoy those gym sessions
However, i've finished my batch and don't think i'll buy it again, i'm now using 1-2 nodoz tablets which just wake me the fuck up

It just simply won't work for everyone. I have some preworkout that I use occasionally and it really helps me get in the zone when I'm not feeling it that day.

Others it won't do ANYTHING. Find what gets you in the "zone" to lift and do that when you need it. Sometimes all it takes is music.
