Best way to cut is to stop restricting food types.

Yes, science has proven again and again that the stricter the diet in terms of outlawing certain foods, the higher rate of failure.

Well on a scale of 1-10 is 1 pound a day good bad or ugly. Also What is the max lb per day I can lose without hurting my body at my current weight of 172ish 6'0 and I assume around 19% bf now?

you won't be able to maintain 1lb a day for long, it's just the beginning of the cut, and your body dropping water and glycogen.

@madmargdegan happiness is key. I'm sure your knees and other internal parts thank you for the 45 pound shed. Maybe you'll see a difference on the outside soon if that is what you are aiming for.


Never had joint pain to be honest.

I went for a run for the first time in 4 months on Saturday and I was able to run 4 miles without stopping, before I would've stopped maybe 4-5 times. Took me 40 minutes but I was happy as fuck.
I'm still at 250lbs and have ways to go but it's easy.
I'm not doing it for aesthetics but I'm certainly not complaining about looking better.

i like cutting with keto and IF. just helps me contorl my appetite... but wtf at all these people saying theres a best way... everyone's body is different...
