Used to have the same thing, it was definitely poor nutrition for me. The simple fix was a large shake, 1L or so, usually has fruit or vegetable juice(quite a bit of sugar in store bought juice) some ice, some frozen berries, and about one cup of Greek yogurt.

Dude I woke up like 2 hours ago and I feel like I could pass out right now. But I'm going to the gym anyway.

I think my problem is that I wake up and then snooze the alarm every 5 min for like an hour...so bad...

Tbh if you have a lot of general fatigue and lethargy, it may be some type of inbalance or deficiency.. get blood work if you feel it's a problem.

Coffee helps, but don't rely on it to combat the fatigue that's probably a manifestion of an insidious ailment. I usually drink around 3 cups per day, but if I happen to have only 1 in the morning, or none, I'm generally fine and not super lethargic or anything.

Other things to consider, do you notice the occurence after high carb meals maybe? High CHO meals repress orexin expression, which causes the lethargy (orexin maintains vigilance and wakefulness for prolonged times.. it's what's generally destroyed in narcoleptics).

How's your sleep quality? Do you wake up a lot through the night?

Are you obese? Do you suspect any type of low grade inflammation? Here is where blood work could also help, for tha latter.

I think the best solution to feel rested is to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every night. Also, going to sleep and waking with the rise and fall of the sun (eg not sleeping at 4 am and waking up at noon).

Was waiting for Balla to post and write at least three words I haven't heard before.

Not disappointed.

Could be lots of things:

narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea, anemia, dehydration, medications, hypothyroidism, a disrupted sleep schedule.

Could basically be anything.

Goto doc and get a blood panel done and get your hormone/vitamin/mineral levels checked.
