A lot of people say that hyp doesn't mix well with training but that's not entirely true. Surely Overeem would agree.
I was heavily involved in sports as a bodybuilder and it worked out pretty well. Rest is what really reduces overtraining effects.
Strength seems harder to gain when doing other stuff, although I've had decent success in the past and I just started adding strength again.
Hyp is easy but bodybuilding is difficult; strength is difficult. hyp is overrated in sports.
