Sophomore in high school. Got out of bed and my mom told me.

Later at school, someone interviewed a teacher over the intercom about the incident and he said "I'd expect large portions of the middle east to be radioactive holes in the ground by this time tomorrow."

French class of my 2nd year of highschool.

They brought in a TV so I was happy I didn't have to read any of the boring shit the teacher had for us.

I didn't watch the TV, just drew stuff on a piece of paper.

i remember it was a very windy and grey day, me and friends were going back to our keepers house from elementary school and then we were all watching those images on repeat of planes crashing on tv. i remember being scared of being in a tornado that day
